UGANDA GORILLA TREK

ESUL 001 [4 Nights/5 Days]

Day 1
Arrive Entebbe, met at the airport by our representative and Take a 5 hour road transfer. Dinner and overnight at Agip Motel.

Day 2
Morning breakfast then take a 5 hour road transfer on a very good road to the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Home to the Mountain Gorillas. In the evening, take to the Munyaga Trail to explore the Freshness of the Forest on a Nature walk along the River Munyaga. Dinner and overnight at the Bwindi Tented Camp.

Day 3
After breakfast, report at the park offices for a briefing by the ranger guides prior to the trek to find the Mountain Gorillas with picnic lunch. The gorillas are tracked, located and after approximately one hour with them, return to base for a shower and cold drink. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Tented Camp.

Day 4
Travel to Kabale For Lunch at the Lake Bunyonyi where you could also take a Canoe ride to explore the many Islands. Depart for Mbarara arriving for dinner and overnight at the Agip Motel.

Day 5
After morning breakfast transfer to Entebbe Airport for your afternoon flight out.

 

 

ESUL 002 [13 Nights/13 Days]

Day 1
Arrive Entebbe and transfer to Kampala for an evening tour of the Kingdoms. You will visit the Kasubi Royal Tombs, Rubaga and Namirembe Cathedral before proceeding to the Uganda Martyrs Shrine. Return to Kampala, dinner and overnight at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel.

Day 2
Proceed to Jinja Source Of the Nile to see the source of the Nile. There after, travel to the Bujagali Falls where White Water Rafters enjoy rides through the Big Grade 5 white water rapids. Dinner and overnight at Jinja Kingfisher Resort.

Day 3
Depart early after breakfast and proceed north west through Bombo to Murchison Falls National Park. After lunch in Masindi, we travel to the Top of the Falls at the Bakers summit to marvel at the Spectacular Nile dropping in a wave of rapids through the Western Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 4
Breakfast, then take a morning game viewing with a game tracker/guide on the northern bank as you trail and spot Elephant, Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Hartebeest, Oribi, Giraffe, Leopard and other game. It is only here that you can trail wildlife with an armed ranger guide. Return to the Lodge for a hearty lunch before taking a sundowner cruise to the bottom of the falls. See Schools of Hippo, Crocodile, Waterbuck and a host of water birds. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 5
Leave Murchison Falls and travel through Fort Portal with picnic lunch. Arrive late evening for a nocturnal walk in the Kibale forest in search of the Galagos, Pottos and Bushbabies. Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge.

Day 6
Transfer to the Kibale Forest again for a morning trek with ranger guide as you trail the Grey Cheecked Mangabeys, Red-tailed Monkey, Olive Baboon, Chimpanzee Red and Black and White Colobus. After lunch, travel to the Crater area in Queen Elizabeth National Park on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 7
Early morning departure for Queen Elizabeth Park. Arrive Mweya with picnic lunch with a drive through the Magnificent Crater Area and the Baboon Cliffs. There after, take an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel believed to host the Largest concentration of Hippo in Africa. A variety of Migrant birds also colours the banks. Dinner and overnight at the Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 8
Morning travel to Maramagambo Forest for a Nature walk along trails to the Bat caves and the Blue Lake. You will have a chance of spotting some of the primate species, the colourful butterflies and a host of forest bird species endemics of the Albertrine rift. In the evening, take a game drive in search of the Lion, Elephant, Hyena, Buffalo and other wild game. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 9
Breakfast early then depart south with picnic lunch through a game drive in the famous Ishasha where lions climb trees!!!. for the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest arriving early evening. Dinner and overnight at the Bwindi Tented Camp.

Day 10
Report at the park offices for briefing prior to tracking the wild mountain gorillas. Later, start your trek with ranger and gorilla trackers to find the gorillas. After an hour with the gorillas, return to camp after picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Tented Camp.

Day 11
After morning breakfast, proceed through the scenic Little Switzerland to have lunch at the Kabale White Horse Inn. Later transfer to the edge of Lake Bunyonyi one of the Crater Lakes. Dinner and overnight at The Lake Bunyonyi Farout Camp.

Day 12
Morning breakfast then take a canoe ride on this beautiful Lake to visit the Island that acted as a Leper asylum in the 1950's. Later, travel to Lake Mburo National Park for game viewing. You will have a chance of walking in the park which hosts, Impala, Zebra, Topi, Buffalo, Crocodile, Hippo and a variety of bird and plant life. All meals and overnight at Mantana Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 13
Breakfast early then proceed to Entebbe. After lunch, take a speed boat to the Jane Goodall Ngamba Chimpanzee Island to view the Chimps. Dinner and overnight at Windsor Lake Victoria.

Day 14
